Threadlift

The big one: instant results. Where treatments like HIFU build their lift gradually over 2 to 3 months, a threadlift repositions the tissue on the spot. You walk out with the result, and without any change to your natural features. Compared to a surgical facelift there are no incisions, no general anesthesia, no weeks of recovery, and a fraction of the price. Unlike fillers, a threadlift lifts without adding volume, and it combines beautifully with fillers or mesotherapy for a complete refresh.

A threadlift (also known as a PDO thread lift) is a non-surgical lifting treatment in which dissolvable threads are placed just under the skin. The threads physically lift sagging tissue, instantly, and stimulate collagen production, fibroblasts and microcirculation as they dissolve. PDO (polydioxanone) is the same material used in surgical stitches for decades, and your body breaks it down completely and safely.

After local anesthesia, the threads are placed under the skin with a blunt, atraumatic cannula through a tiny entry point. No cuts, no stitches, no scars. The treatment takes 30 to 45 minutes and you go home right away. Most clients are presentable again within a few days.

It matters enormously. We exclusively use Venus V-Line Molding threads: the strongest thread in the range (USP 2), with bi-directional barbs that run in alternating segments around the thread. This anchors the tissue in every direction, prevents the thread from slipping, and keeps working for up to 20 months, far longer than standard PDO threads. Venus V-Line threads are CE-certified and produced under ISO 13485, with KFDA Class 4 and KGMP certification.

In Belgium, a threadlift typically costs between €250 and over €1,000 depending on the clinic and the number of threads. At Pêche you pay a transparent €125 per thread. Most treatments use 2 to 6 threads (€250 to €750), determined together in your free consultation. No surprises.

In the hands of a trained expert using certified threads, a threadlift is a safe and well-studied treatment. At Pêche the threads are placed with a blunt cannula rather than a sharp needle, which greatly reduces the risk of bruising, swelling and nerve irritation. Common, temporary effects: some swelling, light bruising or a pulling sensation in the first days, and occasionally slight skin dimpling that settles within a week or two. Rare complications like thread migration or asymmetry are almost always linked to inexperienced injectors or low-quality threads.
