Polynucleotide, also called PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide), is a fully natural skin rejuvenation treatment derived from salmon DNA. Salmon DNA closely matches human DNA in structure, making it highly compatible, safe and effective. At Pêche we offer two Polynucleotide brands: Ameela and Rejuran. Both are natural, CE-certified injectables made from purified salmon DNA. Each has a product for the eye area and one for general rejuvenation, but they are built differently.

Ameela, a European brand, works with three concentrations. Ameela Eyes is the softest, for the thin skin around the eyes. Ameela Rejuvenation is the most versatile, also for the neck, hands and scalp. Ameela Face has the highest concentration, for firmness in the face and jawline.

Rejuran, a South Korean brand, varies mainly in texture. Rejuran Healer is fluid and suited to the face, neck, décolleté, hands and scalp. Rejuran I is extra light for the eye contour. Rejuran S is thicker and designed for depressed scars, such as acne scars.

It's also effective on the face (including the jawline and cheeks), neck, décolleté, hands and hair. Another popular use is treating scars, such as acne scars, surgical scars and stretch marks, most often on the cheeks, jawline and abdomen.

There's minimal to no downtime, though you may notice mild redness or swelling at the injection site. This is completely normal and typically resolves within a few hours to a few days, and you can return to normal activities right away. Downtime around the eye area tends to be a little longer, since this is a more sensitive zone. For the first 24 hours, avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol. We also recommend avoiding saunas, tanning beds, and radiofrequency, IPL, laser or other heat treatments for 2 weeks after your session.
