After your treatment you may experience a temporary redness and tightness. This is completely normal and typically resolves within a few hours, but may take up to 72. Hydrafacial works to bring impurities to the surface and remove them—you may experience slight purging after. This is a good sign that the treatment is hard at work! SPF will be applied after your facial. Be sure to use it daily to protect your skin. Adhere to a gentle skincare routine for approximately 1 week—no facial exfoliation.
Before your Hydrafacial treatment we advise to stop retinol use 1 week prior to treatment, and exfoliating active ingredients like scrubs and acids 5 days prior. Limit direct sun exposure for 72 hours prior to treatment. We cannot treat you if you are sunburned—even a rosy burn. Wait to book your Hydrafacial if you’ve had other facial treatments within the past 2 weeks.
