Yes. We use Diolaze XL by InMode, the world’s leading laser hair removal technology. It permanently disables hair follicles in the treated areas, stopping future hair growth. In rare cases, such as hormonal changes, some fine hair may return. We’ll discuss this during your consultation to ensure realistic expectations.

Hair begins to fall out around 2 weeks after your treatment, but it's very important to complete the recommended amount of treatments for optimal results. Though you'll experience smoother skin after this first treatment, the hair will return, so be sure to follow the recommended amount of sessions to ensure lasting results. Laser hair removal generally requires 6 treatments depending on hair growth, hair type and color, and the area of removal. This is because hair grows in cycles, and the laser can only disable hairs that are in their active growth phase; since not every hair is in that phase at the same time, multiple sessions spread out over several weeks are needed to catch each hair as it cycles through. Appointments should be spaced about 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.

While some areas of the body are naturally more sensitive than others, Laser Hair Removal is relatively painless, and often described as feeling like a rubber band snapping against the skin.

We use InMode's Diolaze XL, an award-winning diode laser platform and one of the most advanced technologies in cosmetic dermatology. Diolaze XL comes with two different applicators, so we can tailor your treatment to lighter and darker skin tones for safe, effective results across all skin types. It has FDA clearance and is considered extremely safe.

Before your treatment you should make sure to avoid sun exposure, tanning beds and self-tanning products at least 2 weeks prior to treatment. Also avoid exfoliating active ingredients on your treatment area for at least 3 days prior to treatment and avoid photosensitizing medications, such as antibiotics, for at least 10 days prior to treatment. 

There's virtually zero downtime, you can go back to work or your daily routine but you may experience some redness afterward, and must stay out of direct sun for one week after. If your skin feels a bit sensitive after treatment, you can utilize an ice pack to soothe the treatment area. Feel free to shave between appointments.

Laser hair removal is safe when performed with the right equipment and settings for your skin and hair type. Possible, usually mild and temporary side effects include redness, slight swelling or sensitivity in the treated area. More serious side effects such as burns or pigment changes are rare and mostly linked to poorly calibrated or low-quality devices. That's why we exclusively use the medically certified Diolaze XL, calibrated individually for your skin.

Shaving between sessions is completely fine and won't affect your results. Waxing, threading or plucking is not recommended, since the laser specifically targets the hair root. If it's already removed, the treatment has nothing left to target.
