Common treatment areas include fine lines and wrinkles in the face including forehead lines, frown lines (between the eyebrows), crow's feet (around the eyes), and marionette lines (around the mouth). We also use Botox for medical purposes such as reducing excessive sweating and treating migraines.

Yes, treatments at Pêche Skin Clinic are always administered by a qualified medical professional, hence Botox is considered safe. Since Botox is injected below the skin's surface, it typically does not cause irritation or allergic reactions related to skin type. Before the treatment our experts always carefully discuss any medical conditions with you, including pregnancy and nursing, allergies and skin infections.

Most people get Botox treatments every 3 to 4 months, as muscle activity gradually returns and wrinkles may start to reappear. To prolong the effect, we recommend using a treatment plan created together with our experts that fits your goals and your unique skin.

Botox works by blocking nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected, temporarily paralyzing or weakening the muscles. This reduces the appearance of dynamic wrinkles (caused by muscle movement). Dermal fillers add volume to the skin, smooth out wrinkles, and enhance facial contours by physically filling in areas under the skin.

Botox does not provide instant results. It typically takes a few days to start noticing changes as the muscles gradually relax. There’s minimal to no downtime, but you might experience some mild side effects, such as temporary bruising or redness at the injected area. This is completely normal and will resolve in a few hours. You can typically return to normal activities immediately. However, we do recommend to avoid strenuous exercise, lying down, or touching the treated area for at least 4 hours post-treatment.

After 3-5 days most people begin to see a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Botox reaches its peak effectiveness approximately two weeks after treatment.

Botox treatments are generally not considered painful. The feeling is best described as a quick pinch, as the needles we use are very fine and the process is quick. If desired, we can apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before injection.

We recommend to not take other facial treatments for 2 weeks prior to your appointment. Avoid alcohol consumption the night before your appointment. Also try to avoid taking aspirins or ibuprofen for 1 week before your treatment to help reduce bruising. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding we do not recommend this treatment.
